Way to Add Contact from a Received Email

If you’ve ever received an email from the person that you want to save as a contact, you can add that person to your contacts list without manually entering their details because Gmail already has their name and email address.

To Add Contact from a Received Email, first

Step 1. Open the Gmail website in your web browser on your Windows, Mac, Chromebook, or Linux computer.

Step 2. After that Log in to your Gmail account.

Step 3. Now find and open the email of the person that you want to add in your contacts list.

Step 4. On the email window, place your cursor on the name of the email sender to get more info from a menu.

Step.5 From the menu that opens, select “More Info.”

Step 6. Now a new contacts pane appears to the right of the email interface. from the top-right corner of this page, click “Add to Contacts” to add the contact to your Gmail.

Step 7. Your selected contact will be saved to your account and You can see an “Added” message at the bottom of the pane. as you can see in the image

If can also edit the newly added contact,for this click “Edit Contact” in the top-right corner of the contacts pane. A new page will open in a new tab of your web browser where you can edit the contact.

Way to Add Contact Manually in Gmail

Another method to add a contact to Gmail is to Add manually You have just to enter the contact’s details in your Gmail account. You can use this method if you’ve never received an email from the person.

Step 1. Visit the Gmail site in a web browser on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.

Step 2. On the Gmail site, at the top-right corner, click on “Google Apps

Step 3. From the “Google Apps” menu, click on “Contacts” to get the Google Contacts site tab of your browser to view the Gmail contacts list.

Step 4. The new page of the Google Contacts site appears, from the menu to the left, Click on Create Contact > Create a Contact.

Now a new page will open in front of you and the “Create New Contact” window open. Here, You have to fill in the details of the contact that you want to add. For example, click on the “First Name” field and enter the person’s first name, select “Email” and enter the email address of the person.

Step 5. After entering all the details, click on the “Save” button

A new message appears displaying “New Contact Created” at the bottom of the Google Contacts site. This lets you confirm that your Gmail contact is successfully added to your Gmail account.
