Step 1: First of all oprn the WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Step 2: After that you will see Your WhatsApp contact list infront of you. You’ll see a three-dots icon at the top right corner of your screen. just click on it.
Step 3: A drop-down menu will appear with many options. click on the Settings option.
Step 4: Now on the Settings screen, click on the Storage and Data option.
Step 5: Now uder the subsection click on Media auto-download, you will see three options.
Step 6: Select the first option called When using mobile data. Again menu with four items appear: Photos, Audios, Videos, and Documents will appear with boxes next to them. Uncheck all boxes.
Step 7: Also follow the same steps When connected to Wi-Fi and When roaming option to Disable Auto Download on Whatsapp.
